<p>Maybe someone attending GS already knows this, does the Econ degree always come out as BA or is it possible to get a BS in Econ by taking more major specific classes?</p>
<p>Go to the economics department website. They have a list of all the degrees offered - as well as the inflexible requirements.</p>
<p>I don’t think a straight Econ major can get a BS. Perhaps if you did one of the department’s sort of hybrid majors like, for example, Econ-Math. But, be forewarned and look at the requirements. Some of the majors in the economics department are pretty heavy.</p>
