I think someone on this same thread was rejected for the Spring 2021 term and reapplied for the Fall term. But I could be wrong. But we won’t get rejected, we’ll all get accepted.
I was rejected Spring 2021. I attended a feedback appointment, where someone basically talks to you over the phone and tells you why you didn’t get in. I think the reviewers leave notes on every person’s profile, and the person giving the feedback appointment reads those and tells you. In my case, my feedback appointment allowed me to pretty much know why I didn’t get in, and let me emphasize some points and change things up the second time around.
Good luck everyone! Here’s to what most likely will be the longest two days of our lives
Actually I don’t even know why I’m expecting a decision on March 1st, I didn’t submit my application until January 19th. But I’m hoping they’ll send out a decision along with the Jan. 15 applicant pool.
What kind of feedback did they give you?
I am also applying for the second time, was rejected FALL 2020, and had an informative feedback session with AO. Hopefully, will make the cut this time, submitted all documents Feb 26th, fingers crossed
My application is ready to submit today March 1st, and my recommendation letters will be submitted within the next two days. My essay is complete, but I really want to hold onto it for another week so I can review it and to have it read by others before I submit. I know the recommendation letters have “grace period” and can be submitted after 3/1 and still be eliglbe for early decision, but does the essay have the same “grace period” or does it have to be submitted by 3/1 for early decision?
I would ask admissions, but they don’t have any appointments available before the ED deadline. … Thank in advance for any responses
TODAY IS THE DAY GOOD LUCK FUTURE GSers!!!
@Sibley11. All application materials could be submitted 2 weeks after the application is submitted (transcript, letters of Rec, etc). However, if the essay is not submitted by the deadline (3/1) your application will be considered incomplete and won’t be consider in time for review.
Hope this helps and good luck to everyone today! Hope we all make the cut for admission!
I submit my application 28 /2
The decision will come out on 1 may ?
is it possible to be before??
Thank you
For anyone who applied priority early action, have you gotten a decision email yet? I submitted my application Jan 14 but have yet to hear back…
I guess today is the day. Good luck😊
Decisions will be released most likely around 5PM EST
We are a few hours away from knowing our decision, I just want to remind you (myself included) to not be too hard on yourself, regardless of the outcome. It may sound cheesy, but I mean it: meditate, read a few pages from your favorite book, watch a show that makes you smile/laugh, etc. Celebrate your efforts rather than the actual outcome Go lions!
I might have a bit of a cry when I get my decision. That’s before opening it
Anyone get a decision today, yet? There’s no update with my application as of 2:08 PM.
No update for me either… I am literally driving myself nuts lol. My heart is in my stomach
Did you apply by the January 15th deadline?
I submitted a complete application on January 19. Was just hoping they’d have a decision today. But I think I might go crazy if I have to wait until May
I applied by the deadline but my recommendation letters were a little late. did you receive your email?
