Usually around 200-300 get one. Just because there are hundreds doesn’t mean they aren’t rare. 200 out of the thousands of applicants the uni gets is a pretty small percentage. Definitely doesn’t mean you are getting rejected w/o a LL.
200 out of 2500 acceptances is still a low number. The vast majority of accepted applicants will not receive one.
Columbia does not offer merit scholarships. Any financial aid will be based on your need.
