Columbia or Barnard ED?

<p>I love Columbia and although I know I don't have that great of a chance to get in, it's my favorite school so I thought I might give it a shot applying ED. My parents and my counselor think that I have a greater chance if I apply ED to Barnard and they think that I should because Barnard and Columbia are basically the same school. However, I'm not sure because I thought Barnard's campus was too small for me. I don't do that well on standardized tests but I get good grades.
Here are my stats:</p>

<p>ACT: 29 and straight A's as a Junior</p>

<p>I have made Honor Roll and High Honor Roll at my school. We don't have a class rank system.

<p>If you really want to be at Columbia somehow, I would suggest choosing Barnard, then. Because your chances for ED at Columbia are lower than ED at Barnard. Even at Barnard there’s a fair chance you could be denied.</p>
