ok, if you haven't waived your rights to look at the letters, colleges won't take the as seriously...</p>

<p>If you write some killer essays & present yourself really well, I think you still have a chance.</p>

<p>Might want to work on that ACT score, though...</p>

<p>I think even with a legacy Columbia is very unlikely, but it can't hurt to try.</p>

<p>For Penn, I think you have a better chance if you go early decision, but it is still unlikely. I think you should bring your SAT score up, and really concentrate on your essay. I'm sorry to be so pessimistic but I hope this helped. Good luck with your applications!</p>

<p>this might seem weird, but i have just completed something which will go on my app.</p>

<p>it was research/statistical analysis for a book that a college professor wrote on mathematics and teaching techniques in the elementary level. (i contacted him about taking classes and he asked me to help)</p>

<p>and also forgot to put that i was an intern for my local mayor this summer for a month. </p>
