Columbia or UChicago

Hey y’all! I got into Columbia and UChicago and am currently very conflicted… here are my pros and cons for each

UCHICAGO:

Pros: Got named as a dean’s scholar which would give me $5k to research or work at the graduate school for a summer, I like the campus much better and would feel like it’s more “home-y”, my credits and AP scores would allow me to take 3 classes a quarter instead of 4, and they have the Institue of Politics which is perfect for my polisci major

Cons: grading is harder, workload is hard, worried that there might not be enough of a social life

COLUMBIA:

Pros: Better social life, easier grading (they have A+’s), Ivy League, could go to college sports games, maybe better dorms, easier to get into a law/grad school with higher GPA

Cons: not as much of a fan of the campus, SOMETIMES get overwhelmed by NYC (although the city as a lot to offer as well), would have to take more classes because my credits wouldn’t transfer, and no institute of politics or scholarship.

Thoughts? Thanks so much!
