Columbia Univ., UPenn, U of M, U Chicago Chances. I'll chance you back.

@Homeless2Harvard , really dumb that you think I didn’t get accepted anywhere I wanted to. Applied early to one of HYPSM and received my acceptance letter in December. Feel free to make more assumptions though.

This is a chance me thread, people are allowed to have different opinions. I don’t know why you try to foist your opinions on other people.

“^ “DontEvenKnow” really doesn’t even know what he’s talking about.”

The people that are matches/low reaches to these kind of schools are usually smart enough to realize that posting a Chance Me thread is stupid and completely useless. At most, it gives you 5 minutes of satisfaction as you read everybody’s comments about how amazing of an applicant you are. At worst, you realize how hopeless of an applicant you really are. Just go do something else and forget about your “chances” because what’s worth more, 5 minutes of satisfaction from CC posts or 4 years of satisfaction when you actually attend the college of your choice?

Columbia: low reach (good as chance as anyone)
UMich: match
UChicago: Low reach (good as chance as anyone)
UPenn: high match

Thanks for chancing me.

Columbia: reach
UMich: match (maybe I’ll see you there!)
UChicago: low reach, but I have no doubt of you getting accepted
UPenn: match

Great stats: Columbia and UoC will require the most fingers crossed; you have a pretty sizable chance of getting into the other schools. I’m assuming you want to pursue a career in finance, so it’s really down a matter of which school’s program calls to you the most now.

You should definitely be accepted to Michigan.

U of Chicago likes high test scores. Good chance if you can nail the quirky essays.

Penn emphasizes grades as primary, then EC’s and test scores. Wharton is difficult, but you have a chance.

Columbia seems a little more about test scores, and grades than EC’s. I think a decent chance, but keep in mind that they do not have an undergraduate finance major.

I think you’ll get into 1-2 of Chicago, Wharton, Columbia.
In at UMich.

Stats are very solid and ECs seem strong too!

Columbia, UPenn - Reach (as it is for everyone, but you may have a stronger chance ED)
UChicago - Low Reach
U of M - Target/Match
