Columbia University Official Class of 2011 Early Decision Results

I'd call...but it's currently 12:22 in the morning. xP (Just got back from a dance.)

I live in MA, though, so I hope I'll get my package tomorrow. If I don't... Well, I'll start panicking then.

I caved and called tonight (err this morning, 12:12 AM and the DHL lady was very nice).

Thanks to everyone for their congrats!...hope to meet everyone next fall!

Financial aid letter says they have incomplete info. DD says she checked the site and it SEEMS to be a missing CSS Profile... Wondering if the Profiles are delayed?

Are others having this problem? (Can't call financial aid until Monday.)

piglette, i'm with the Williams College group, and I just wanted to ask whether or not you actually GOT a decision because of incomplete info?

rl.hill (and anyone affected by missing financial aid offer from Columbia U.) :

The letter said that Columbia is unable to give us "an accurate estimate" of financial aid, because they have "insufficient information."

So, the idea is (presumably) that we will get the information (whatever it turns out to be) to the fin. aid office at Columbia, and that they will then be able to give us their offer/package.

I am just not sure what they lack, at this point. Also unclear on whether this problem is widespread among Columbia EA admits who requested financial aid.

Good luck at Williams -- Absolutely fabulous college!

I called. And there's a package coming. Big sigh.

It was like waiting for my decision all over again because I was just waiting for the lady to say, "No, sorry, ma'am, but we don't have a package coming for you. Are you sure you're getting one?"

My hands are still clammy! (:

Can anyone tell me the number for DHL. I live in Texas and havent gotten my package yet but I thought id call. Thanks.

The number is 1-800 CALL DHL. I called them yesterday and they said my package will be here Monday. I don't think they deliver on weekends.

Thanks jsw2, i called, but it said they "were unable to answer my call." Oh well, ill just wait until monday.

DHL operates on business days.

Is columbia early binding?? I thought it was ED, not SEAS, because isn't SEAS non-binding and ED is binding, but everyone is saying they got in "SEAS." It says ED on the site. I'm confused....can someone clarify?

school of engineering and applied sciences?

cory123, I think you are referring to SCEA (single choice early action).

AHHH...my letter/email has NOT come yet..i'm so mad. T_T ***.

nobody delivers on Sundays! omfg

sorry this might be a bit late but

Decision: Accepted (CC)
