Hi all!! I don’t get on College Confidential a lot, but I’ve been following this forum since fall, and I was admitted!! Congrats to everyone else as well!
I would also like to be added to the facebook group, but I have a question:
For those of you who were able to access your financial aid, how did you get to it? I am logged into the portal but my only two options are “Menu” and “Documents”. Am I missing something or is my aid just not available yet?
Thanks, and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone! I still can’t believe this.
@lexlooks4college are you in the financial aid portal? If so, there should be a selection menu on the upper left side. There should be an “award” section.
@LetMeInPls123 I don’t want to share my entire essay, but essentially, I talked about how I come from a middle-class family and how being from that environment pushed me to achieve a level of “comfortability” rather than to make an impact on the world, and how as much as it means to me that my family wants me to be happy in that manner, I recognize how much wealthier I am than so many others in the world and how I want to change that.
I wonder if I agree to transfer to Columbia University, this is notified to the CURRENT COLLEGE which I am currently attending and I will drop out of school automatically.
Received my packet from Columbia! It comes in a pretty blue folder and has a letter of admission, educational financing info, tentative transfer credit evals/transfer FAQs/details abt Columbia core, an invitation to Transfer Lions’ Den, info about housing, and a photo viewbook. @12Beatles@ifownly
Hey guys! I am still a senior in high school and I had trouble finding the courses or the transfer requirements for my major(Computer Science). Can someone help me please. Thank you.
Congrats to everyone that got in!! I was waitlisted so hopefully, I can join you guys in June! For the people accepted, do you mind posting your SAT/ACT score? Also for the people waitlisted, do you plan on submitting a supplement?
@Sillmatic you can go to the Columbia CS dept website, click on Academics > BS/BA Programs, choose your degree and there will be class requirements for the major
