Columia Early Decision Agreement Form

Yes, I see that.

So I am in the clear, correct?

It seems like it. I mean, you’ve signed the ed contract, your counselor has, and your parents don’t have too, so what would be the point of sending another in? It seems pointless and redundant.

That’s what I thought.

But the posts on this thread made me freak out.

Silly CCers.

Can I still submit my application even if my counselor hasn’t submitted his portion of the ED agreement yet? I’m not sure what’s taking him so long… all he needs to do is type his name and press a button!

according to common app helpline: [Support Center](http://s3.parature.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=5524)

you are allowed to submit your app before school forms/reccomendations are submitted :)

I’m so confused guys!! I submitted the ED agreement online, but it doesn’t say that my counselor submitted it under school forms.

Does she do this online? Is there something I need to give her? (I’m 18 btw so I don’t think my parents need to sign anything, but I don’t even see a form for them to sign if I wasn’t 18)…

I’m panicking, hahah.

Okay wait so I see this:

Parent/Legal Guardian | Not required.
This institution does not require parent/legal guardian signature for the Early Decision Agreement.

Sooo that means I don’t need to deal with that, but do I need to talk to my counselor and get her to fill something out?? And will she have it in her forms because I don’t see anything to give her.

Although you do not need your parents signature, you MUST have the counselor signature. Either electronically or in paper, you need to get the Early Decision Agreement in.
It seems that you have already signed it, so it is the counselors responsibility to send his/her portion in.

If doing electronically, you probably have already had your counselor added in order to fill our your Secondary School Report on the common app. they should have gotten some kind of email regarding signing the counselor portion of the ED agreement. If you haven’t then do so now, or else you can try printing the ED form from commonapp.org and then mailing/faxing it in tomorrow.
