Combined MBA/Engineering degrees

does anyone know colleges that have things like this or can direct me toa thread about it? (undergrad)

i know lehigh has one...

Lehigh's program gives you one or two undergrad degrees.

I could be mistaken, but don't MBA program admissions usually require a few years of work experience first? I've only seen combined engineering/MBA graduate degrees, not undergrad.

Notre Dame has a dual degree program the the Mendoza College of Business that is a five-year program in which you earn a BS in a chosen field of the College of Engineering and MBA. Don't know anyone personally that has done this, but according to the Bulletin of Information, you apply to the the program (MBA) during your junior year. You must take the GMAT. You complete this program with a background in management sciences, as well as the first professional degree in one of the fields of engineering (according to the Bulletin). Check it out at Notre Dame's website!

Carnegie Mellon has one with CS - u should check if it is possible to do with engineering too

You are talking about a Dual Masters in Engineering and MBA degree, right?

A quickly Google search showed that many schools offer this option: from Cornell to Michigan.

Georgia Tech also has a joint MS/MBA program

Yes, plenty of schools have this program. Florida does as well.

Oregon State has one. For a b.s. in CS and MBA, I think. I'm not sure about other fields.

upenn has an excellent and prestigious program. its the fisher program in management and technology. really selective to get into. only 55 applicants admitted per year.

isn't it much more useful to get into an engineering-MBA rather than an engineering-BBA program?

JHU is working on one as soon as the new carey business school is finalized.

MIT has one for Grad. Undergrad business degree is usually a BBA or BS In Business (or even Economics)

MBA is for Grad, you need to have an Undergrad degree first to get a MBA
