Comfort Level of Minorities

<p>It seems that the US Coast Guard Academy is the least diverse of all. I am curious as to how minority students (forgot the term to use here!) fit in. Is it a tough transition or really a non issue? Obviously it may depend on the student, but in general is it a welcoming enviornment for all that just happens to have few minorities, or is it an environment minorities have to be prepared to really have beyond regular mental toughness to make it in?</p>
