I’ll throw in the speaker for Pomona, my son’s school, Cameron Munter, US Ambassador to Pakistan. Looking forward to the speech Munter’s last post before Pakistan was Deputy Chief of Mission in Baghdad so I guess he’ll have a few experiences to share.

MIT - Sal Khan
[Sal Khan is Commencement speaker - The Tech](http://tech.mit.edu/V131/N57/khan.html)

Oooh, Khan is a great choice!

I’m having one of those “CC” moments. I was just reading along, and then I came to 70’s Grad’s post listing Pomona’s speaker, Cameron Munter. Holy cow. I know Cameron Munter. I had no idea what he’d got up to in the past 25 years, but he worked for me on the 1984 Olympic Planning Committee. Thanks for the inadvertent update. As it happens, I vouched for his character when he applied for his first job at the State Department. So strange!
