Commencement Speeches in the Arts

<p>I'm sure there are a number of great speeches out there on the web we could link to, and I hope folks will add them. </p>

<p>This was posted today and I think it's well worth reading for anyone brave enough to pursue music.</p>

<p>Thank you for sharing that! My favorite thought at first glance is part of the last line: “don’t mind being difficult.” After hearing my son’s rather weird but kind of marvelous composition last night, I feel as though it’s an especially good point for the concerned parent of an artist to keep in mind. I also love that he talked about always learning, to “never consider yourself sufficiently educated”. A good thing for everyone to keep in mind.</p>
