I don't know if there was an email that I accidentally deleted or a letter that I disregarded, but I have no idea what I do now that I've committed to Duke. All the other schools I was accepted to gave an online link or a letter outlining everything that you needed to do after you selected the college and how to do it (choosing a roommate, picking a meal plan, siging up for pre-orientation programs etc.). It seems as though everyone on the fb Duke groups already knows they're doing. Am I missing something here? For example, people are already applying for focus groups; I don't even know how to go about doing so. Am I the only one that seems to be left in the dust? If so, is there a place on the Duke website that could clue me in?

You need to access ACES (the Duke student account portal) for most of the admissions and enrollment process. Contact the Admissions Office, to confirm whether or not they have sent your log-in info to you.

Yeah I have an ACES. When I log into it where do I go?

All it as is my FA info, my acceptance letter, and the list of classes I can take

For information about the focus program: http://focus.duke.edu

I don’t think you get a room assignment until June or July. Freshman roommate selection is usually random, unless you join the facebook group (or other media site) and pre-select a roommate. Then you and that individual submit each other’s name as a roommate choice.
