Committing to two schools in different countries.

If you have no experience dealing with British schools, please ignore this question

So currently I have acceptances at both American schools and conditional acceptances at British schools. However since my acceptances at the British schools are conditional, am I able to deposit at an American school while waiting for Advanced Placement results to come out?

I asked this before but only received one relevant sounding response and was asking for verification.

You can deposit at the US school you like best. If you decide to not attend they will probably keep the deposit. That’s all.

Every year some students decide not to go to the college that they had planned on at the last minute, or they get off a wait list at the last minute, or they contract a serious illness, or, well you get the idea.

I would call the adcoms. It sounds fair to me, given that your acceptances in Britain are conditional in a way that American acceptances are not–ie, they require certain scores, not just passing classes.
