<p>Just wondering if the 'Academics' section of common app where self-reported GPA, SAT/AP scores etc is optional ? since the School and Collegeboard are sending anyway this info, why to fill this ? any problem if I leave it empty ? </p>
<p>I will still fill in Current courses (senior year).</p>
<p>I believe all of it is optional. It’s pretty much just there to make it convenient for them to skim through your application and find all of the info in one place.</p>
<p>thx ace747. Anyone else ? is there’s any negative side to leaving the academic section blank on common app ? My main reason is - since I am sending the SAT scores officially, why to unnecessarily advertise that I have taken SATs more times, especially for schools that superscore ??</p>
