<p>Anyone know what the preference is for an essay? Font size? I know one of the standard ones not a fancy one that is hard to ready - and whether the preference is single or double space?</p>

<p>I’d go with standard double spaces with no fancy margins. Maybe a title, though that’s probably not a big deal either. It might be a good idea to use a footer with your full name and social security number, in case it gets separated from the rest of your app. It’s about the writing, not the formatting.</p>
<p>the common app generates its own footer. with name and common app id - so no need to do that - good suggestion though</p>
