Common App Fee Waivers

How many Common App fee waivers do I get? Is it unlimited?

I think you can get 4 from your GC. Your state school may have their own waivers. For any additional, you can request one individually from a school.

I think how the common app works is if you qualify, your GC verifies somehow that you qualify for fee waiver then you can apply to all common app schools for free.

Then you have additional 4 app fee waivers from collegeboard if you used a fee waiver for SAT that you can use for non common app schools.

Some schools also offer free applications online, if you visit or you can inquire if they offer a fee waiver for lower income students.

Unlimited for schools that are on the common app.

Asking for a friend (I’m already in college), if all the schools applied to are from common app. would the applicant even need the SAT waivers? @ohmomof2 @mommdc

Only for the Sat and score reports.

Yes, if he doesn’t want to pay the $50+ fee to take the SAT and wants to be able to send four free score reports.

wooww, did not knew it was all common app schools free, I was getting alittle bit scare that I have not pay any application.

But you still have to pay to send the scores over what the fee waiver covers. If you must file the CSS profile you must pay for all applications over what the fee waiver covers. It can still be a pricy process
