On the School Forms section of the Common App for Yale, there are four pdf files:
Counselor School Forms
Early Decision Agreement
International Supplement to the School Report
Home School Supplement to the School Report
My main question is about the Early Decision Agreement Form. I thought that Yale was Early Action, not Early Action? Do I still have to submit this form to Yale? And if I do, is Yale ED 1 or ED 2?

Yale has single choice early action (SCEA). Explanation here:
[Single-Choice Early Action for Freshman Applicants | Yale College Admissions](Single Choice Early Action for First-Year Applicants | Yale College Undergraduate Admissions)

Note especially: “To take part in this program, check the box for Restrictive Early Action at the beginning of the Common Application and on the Yale Supplement.”

Also note this recent addition to the website: “Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy in the eastern United States, the Early Action application deadline has been extended to midnight on Monday, November 5 for students affected by the storm. This applies both to your own application as well as to supporting documents sent on your behalf.”

So I don’t have to fill out the ED form for Yale, even though it appears on the list?

^^ Correct. The Common App lists forms for all colleges. As Yale DOES NOT have ED, you don’t fill out the Early Decision Agreement.
