Common App: Late Letters of Recommendation

Unfortunately, my teacher is a little late with his letter of recommendation. However, I read that as long as it’s not too late, it’s okay since that is the only part of the application that is out of my control. But when I submitted the application, the “Recommenders and FERPA” section of the Common App was no longer clickable. Does the teacher still have access to this section in the Common App or will he have to manually send it via mail?

They should still have access.

If the rec is being submitted through naviance, the teacher will still have access. If not, I’m not too knowledgeable about in what scenarios the commonapp will take a late letter, but if the teacher is unable to submit the rec, most colleges have an email that you can send application materials to. The colleges themselves won’t care if the letter of rec is a few days late as long as they receive it.
