common app penn essays vs. specific penn app essays

so the specific penn app has
A. short answers: (1) what you like to do for fun, and (2) professor you would like to study with
B. essay: why penn?
C. optional essays: (1) autobiography, (2) first experience, (3) ethical dilemma

but the penn common app has not only A, B, C, but also the required common app essays.
so do you think there's an advantage in writing less essays, or writing more essays to express yourself more?

You just answered your own question

There is no optional essay on the Penn Application. Option C is not optional. You have to do all of them. The CommonApp on the other hand requires that you do all of those and the CommonApp essays.

"Option C is not optional"

do you still choose one of the three? or you write all of them?

for option C, you just choose one of the essays. so you could write about autobiography and not the two others, or the ethical issue and not the two others, or the first time and not the two others. so just choose one.
