Common app - Relatives who attended situation?

Hello all,

I’m applying as a transfer student for the spring of 2017 and I ran into a little issue. On the common app for this school, one section asks if I have had any relatives attend the school and the truth is yes I have. However, he started doing bad and ultimately left the university. Would this affect my decision at all? Considering he was also a transfer to the school (the harder institution) and ended up not doing well. For me this is also the harder institution than my current one.
