On the supplement, there is a question that asks this:
"The Admission Committee's policy is to select the testing options that will serve you best. If you prefer to choose specific tests to fulfill our requirement, please select the appropriate option."

It has 3 boxes:
English/Writing/Verbal
Quantitative/Math
Test of your choice

I'm confused as to how to fill this out? Do you just put your 'best' standardized test score on that related area in the box?

Do you think it would be better to not choose
"I would like the Admission Committee to make a selection in my best interest"??

Also, what are people's experiences with interviews?? Is an interview really as important as Hamilton portrays it as (like it's pretty dang hard to get accepted without an interview)??

You're supposed to check off the let the admission people choose box, thats what they say on the tour and i think most people end up doing it. they're not trying to screw you over and i'm guessing they pick the best ones?? i did it and got in.

as for interviews, i think they are somewhat important, just to show interest in the school. for awhile hamilton was a back up for the williams-bowdoin-middlebury set, and so i think they use the interview to help judge if you are REALLY interested in the school, or just using it as a backup. i wouldn't stress about it though, it was the first one i did, it probably went terribly, and i'm here today!
