<p>Yeah, it is. The schools use the supplement to make a file for you, so if you send it in, they will make a file for you even if you haven't submitted your application. Some schools require that the supplement be turned in early (usually if you want an interview).</p>
<p>But some schools want you to send the supplement at the same time with the common app.
Others have a pre-application supplement...so it depends</p>
