Common Application Mistake

On the Common Application, I accidentally wrote down a class for second semester that I am not actually taking. Should I contact the colleges to discuss my error, or is it fine? Thanks.

I have no idea, but I think it might depend on the class. Perhaps if you told us what class it was, that would help other, wiser CCers respond.

If you have reported a class you are not actually taking, definitely report it to the college. There shouldn't be any consequence.

Yeah, I accidentally put down my economics class for two semesters, when in fact it should have only been for the first semester. As a result I omitted the government class I will be taking second semester. Also, I have added several classes for second semester to my schedule as well. Should I contact the colleges for these changes as well, since when I send in my mid-year report, it should have all my correct classes for second semester.

Bump

i

You should be good if your second semester schedule is on the transcript. However, if I were you, I still would simply e-mail the admissions just in case.

When my second semester schedule changed, I simply emailed the updated schedule to each of my schools. They all replied saying it'd be added to my file.

Ok, thanks for the help.
