Hi, when I go to submit the commonapp for Yale, it doesn't show up as an option to submit the application to. I have Yale under the "my colleges" section, and I've successfully submitted the app fee and supplement.

Has anyone else had this problem? I want to submit my application! How did you resolve it?

This happened to me before when I was sending in an application for another college.

Go back to your application and make sure you didn't leave anything blank that is mandatory. For me, I somehow forgot to choose a major or something random like that. Make sure you have everything filled out.

Make sure you didn't check Yale's Early Action Single Choice box in your "Future Plans" under Common Application.

Make sure you're in the right version of the Common App if you've created more than one version.

:T I don't see why it shouldn't work if the above conditions are satisfied...

It's been a while since we've done any problematic common applications but I remember one school not letting us submit the common ap BEFORE submitting the school's supplement. Check on that. We have been doing it supplement, common ap and then payment.

ok...this happened to me too so i kept clicking submit every 5 min or so for about 90 min and then it just worked!
and i nvr had another problem again

I got it figured out. Commonapp sent me a lovely response. I hadn't filled out the "future plans" section, so for anyone else with this problem, make sure you have that filled out!

Thanks for resonding everyone, and good luck with admissions!
