For the commonapp, did you submit BOTH the school report AND the international school report?

And for the transcripts: did you just have your final GCSE/IGCSE grades and your A-levels/IB predictions? Or did you have ALL your term report grades in them (i.e. grade 10 term 1, term 2, etc)?

This particularly important for me...since I have a bunch of Es and Ds in my year 10 term report cards, but I managed straight A*/A for my final IGCSEs.

But will the adcoms not read my transcript in the same way as they read american transcripts? or are they very much aware of the fact that in English-curriculum schools, education is geared towards the final exam and everything else is irrelevant?

I saw a thread on CC about that a while back and I actually e-mailed a few colleges and they just said I had to send the grades for the last four years of high school.

Well, I really don’t know. I suggest you have your school’s counsellor explain that?

Well in my case my counselor sent both my high school reports and my O/A level certificates too, best to be on the safe side rather than have your chances of admission lowered due to lack of info in the application.

I’m not sure about it, I’m pretty sure they so give quite a bit of weight-age to high school reports, even though they’re not considered important at all in GCSE setups. Remember, it’s you who has to conform to the university’s standards, not the other way around.

HIII! I’m an international student intending on applying as a freshmen for Fall 2013, and my GC in my Secondary school is kinda clueless about the whole Commonapp. The thing is…I am rather unsure as to how I would send in my O Levels results. Do I do that with the Optional report, Midyear or Final?
I am going by quite an untraditional method of applying with just my O levels…and I TRULY appreciate any help given! Thank you so much in advance!!!
and I’m a little dumb at navigating through CC so I’m not sure how to start a new thread. That’s why I’m posting here! Thank you! ^.^
