Wondering if any current students could give an "insider's guide" to the five Commons. I am a rising freshman and curious about the personality and social atmosphere of each one. Thanks!

Honestly, they’re different every year. The commons are becoming less and less important as a result of making junior and senior room draw independent of commons. So what commons you’re in just determines where you’ll live the first two years. The personality and social atmosphere depend almost entirely on the group of freshman in the commons. Each commons has different administrators (adults, in other words) attached to it, so that can change things too… But it’s really up to you and the people around living around you to create a distinct environment.

Thanks Klink!

So which commons has the best upperclassman housing? And whats with the whole commons points thing?
