<p>Average hs students are actually not that reluctant to join book clubs. I went to a book club meeting at the local library and there were a lot of kids there. Of course, the reading assignments were not Shakespeare, they were teen novels (YUCK). Teen novels are trashy, badly written books with pretty covers. So it depends on what the focus of the book club is. If it’s to read Twilight, (sadly) expect a huge response. If it’s to read Atlas Shrugged, don’t expect such a good turnout.</p>

<p>Yeah, I agree. But my French 1 teacher a few years ago said that Capitalism:Socialism:Communism is the same as Christianity:Islam:Radical Islam. A lot of people think that it is something like this. </p>
<p>Also, communism with capitalism or socialism with communism CAN coexist. It is not common, but it happens. For example, communism within socialism. Kerala (a state in Southern India) is an example of this. While India is constitutionally defines Socialism within the government, Kerala follows a more communist agenda. Actually, it is among the most developed Indian states, leading India in per capita GDP. </p>
