hi ...
i have a question here...
how hard is ap calculus bc? (or rather....how hard it is to get a 5 on the exam?)
because basically i have two options: -take ap calc. in my high school or -take single variable calculus I and II in a community college?
(Both instructors in H.S. and Community College are excellent)
Because the way i see it is that :
-community college load is way less than that of an ap class
-you automatically get your college credit(i don't have to take an ap exam)

please tell me your oppinion
thanks

I've been wondering about the same exact thing. There are pros and cons for both APs and community college courses....but colleges expect students to take as many APs as possible. Even though often times community college courses are easier, I think that it's better to take AP classes offered at your school.

It depends on what you'd take in high school if you're taking a CC class. If you'll take an extra math class (or something else you're interested in), it's a great idea. If you'll substitute it with a worthless elective, it's not.
