The only thing is that AP courses aren't accepted at all colleges, especially privates and HYPSM.</p>

Dual enrollment typically means taking high school and college courses at the same time.</p>
<p>But he says he doesn't have to set foot in high school again, so I guess he's getting home schooled?</p>
<p>Pretty much, I joined a homeschool academy (legally considered as private school) in order to do this. The school isn't so keen on letting me do this because that would mean losing a lot of tuition fees. Too bad that such a decision made me quit the school altogether.</p>
