Hello,
I am currently working on my second year at a community college. My major is Finance and want to go into Investment Banking. I originally went to a CC in MD where I ended up with a 2.0 GPA. Yes I know it is not good. I have some issues going on. I moved to Florida where I took off a year to get my life back on track and now at a CC. Finished the fall semester with a 3.7 and plan for a 4.0 as spring ends. My cumulative GPA will be around 3.0 by the end of this semester. I plan to start looking for a university to go to and start in fall of 2016 as I need to get my GPA up a little more. I am not completely sure how universities look at cumulative vs institutional GPAs. I pretty much know that I would not make a target IB school such as Wharton, NYU yeah you get the picture. What are some alternatives schools or do you think I really have small chance that have placement into Wall Street? I will be at >60 credits transfer time but not THAT much over, less than 70. I plan to move back northeast area and get away from the south.
