Is it really a huge deal in the admissions process?
I've done quite a bit, but not huge amounts.
I run track, and what with practice and meets, I hardly have time for homework, let alone community service. I do what I can, but there's only so much time in a day.

For me, personally, I'm required to do 60 hours in order to graduate, but I know it's not a requirement for many students. I think it's just something you can add and can work to your advantage. But not having it won't be detrimental.

dont just do community service to do community service though, colleges are getting wise to that. Help out with something you care about so its not such a big deal to make time, work with the skills that you have

Thanks guys. (:
Took a little weight off my shoulders.

Yeah, Spruce, the community service I do is mainly environmental, which is one of my main interests, but unfortunately I still have trouble finding time. /:
