Commuting to college, would it be worth it?

<p>Thinking of Drexel or UPenn in Philly: To get there it's a matter of driving 2 minutes to the train station, and riding the train 40 mins (takes you 2 blocks from campus). I am just not sure about it all. People say commuting is lonely and you don't meet people. I would probably be okay on campus but living there seems like it would be a whole lot more expensive and boring at times.</p>

<p>Any advice, experience, etc.?</p>

<p>I have not met a single college student who feels living on campus is boring compared to living at home.</p>
