What are the best colleges for Comparative Literature?

bump.

Please? Anyone?

Comp Lit is a diverse department, considering that most things which philosophy departments no longer teach get moved into it, namely continental philosophy. If you are interested in literary theory at all, Cornell and Duke are by far the best. In terms of general departments, I would still say Cornell and Duke, followed by UC Irvine and Yale. LAC's don't tend to have good Comp Lit, mostly because they can't get the top professors, which is especially important for humanities departments.

Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, Columbia are among the "best" for comparative literature but any school with good literature departments could work for you. In almost every comparative literature program, most of your courses will be in the literatures/languages you choose to specialize in. For example, you might do English and French, and take most of your courses in those departments, with only a few in comparative literature itself, so you should look at the individual programs as well as the comparative literature departments. And a liberal arts college could be a fine place to major in comp. lit.
