Compare Ursinus Bryn Mawr Juniata Elizabethtown for Biology/Pre-med

I understand that but it felt like the discussion was starting to start to derail (and possibly become a debate) from the orig request. Thanks!

Thank you all for all of the information. I really appreciate it. The chart provided by Creekland is very helpful.
MYOS 1634, I do appreciate all of your very detailed realistic information and recommendations. I do agree with your recommendations and am trying to place my kids in an appropriate college for their academics but not unnecessarily competitive and a college which they will fit and feel comfortable and is also affordable.
I do believe that the colleges that I listed and the ones you all have suggested will provide this for my D23.
All of you guys are very helpful to me with all of the information that you provide.
Thank you again.

My opinion…really students from all four of these schools get medical school acceptances.
Bryn Mawr is the strongest school overall. We know students who have entered medically related fields from both Juniata and Ursinus. Both good schools, but perhaps not as high in the rankings as Bryn Mawr.

In my opinion, the outlier is Elizabethtown. I’m not sure this would be in my top choices, but if you are crafting a broad net application list, it’s fine.

I would take potential medical school out of the equation and look at the other qualities of these schools. That’s my opinion.

It’s the OP who brought up the other aspect of scores and grades and how they apply to acceptances. Why can’t those be addressed, esp since the OP brought them up? Do they have to start a new thread for every single little difference? If so, that thought boggles my mind.
