  1. Berkeley (top 5 in Math, top 10 in Econ)
  2. Michigan (top 10 in Math, top 15 in Econ)
  3. CMU (top 20 in Econ, top 30 in Math
  4. McGill (not ranked along with US Universities, but very strong)
  5. UIUC (top 20 in Math, top 30 in Econ)
  6. USC (around #50 in Econ and Math)</p>
