Exactly what the title says. Are there any reputable competitions out there like the congressional app challenge?

Why not just do that one?
There are numerous hackathons out there… to many to name. The highest regarded among them are college competitions that permit high schoolers to enter. If you have success selling your app on an app store (Google Play, Apple, etc.) that also looks good. Plus there are the Computer Science Olympiad, National Cyber League, or CyberPatriot.
So no other places for me to submit app aside from congressional app, app store, and college hackathons?
