I seriously don't want to go to college at this point. What are my chances of getting into Marist college?
I have a 3.5 unweighted gpa and a 4.6 weighted gpa.
I'm ranked 112/295 in my school.
I was in nhs in my old school and I'm also in it in my new school.
I was also in the national art honor society in my old school.
I also have awards for having the highest grades in CPA chem, CPA geometry, CPA Art 1, and CPA art 3.
I haven't done any school sports but I did figure skating for 2 years.
I also did theater and art lessons out of school.
I was in the art club for 3 years, the lit club for 2, and now the environmental club.
and in total I scored about a 1700 on my SATs

Don’t feel hopeless, you’ll definitely get in somewhere, even if it isn’t necessarily your first choice now! I’m sure you will grow to love whatever school you end up at!

I applied to Marist EA and I have similar stats, I’ve been told it’s a match for me, so I’m sure it’s a match for you.
Do you do any volunteer work or community service? Also how do you think your essays are/will they stand out?

Have a backup plan?

If you dont want to go to college, what are you going to do? Taking a year off is fine, but much longer than that will slowly lower your chances.

Most colleges will also let you defer the admissions for a year.

Don’t get so down on yourself!!! You have what seems to be a great mix of academics and ECs. Apply to more so you have options just in case Marist doesn’t work out, but there is a college out there that wants you!!!

i think you’re pretty much a match.
don’t stress so much, like the other posters have said, you’ll definitely get in somewhere!!
have you seen your chances on cappex? it might help you put your stats in perspective.
