Computer Aided design as a freshman

Going to high school in a few months, and I choosed Computer Aided design as 1 of my electives. How hard is this class? I am doing it because of the STEM bachlorette. It gives community college credit also, which convinced me to do it. My only concern is, how difficult is this class? May someone please give their experiences?

I’m taking a dual-enrollment design class this year using the PLTW curriculum. We’ve been doing regular CAD tasks by the packet, using Autodesk Inventor.

I find it sort of relaxing, but feel it would be incredibly difficult for someone bad with computers.

Wow thanks! How hard is it?

Lol, what I meant to say is what program do you use? Also, what grade are you in?

The class shouldn’t be so difficult if you read carefully. We’ve done units on geometry and unit conversion, but your class may not do that! Since it’s an entry-level elective and we have mostly freshmen, the less math-oriented kids really struggled with those.
Again, though, our curriculums may differ there!

The program we’re using is Autodesk Inventor. Good luck!

Wow, thanks a lot! You have been great help!
