This is my first post here. Just wanted to get some ideas rolling. I am currently a computer engineering undergraduate about to graduate in May 2010. (GPA 3.4) I am activly pursuing an BS in Electrical Enginering as well because I havent found out exactly wherther to work in software or hardware. The BS in Electrical Engineering will be completed by Fall 2010. So at that time I will have two degrees.

This is where I was asking for advice.

Should I start applying for jobs right away? My plan was to eventually get a certicficate in project managment and hopefully my career will evolve from there. I am really interested in the business side of engineering with hopes of one day being that person that can talk about the product and know the ins and outs of everything (engineering side) and be able to interact with people whether it is managing the project etc. I feel like I would have alot to offer. The money is not a huge thing to me I just want to be okay and not have to worry about money. I just had talked to some project managers at established enginering companies and some of them dont even believe in an MS degree. While some say that an MBA is not worth the paper its printed on. So that is where I am going crazy. I was really trying to avoid grad school due to the fact that the tuition rates are through the roof, so If i could be sucessful with out it that would be great.

So now im hung up and dont know where to go. Help?

Start working with my two BS degrees.

Start working with my two BS degrees,
and see if I can have an employer pay for my MS degree.

Go back to school and get an MS.

Work and get that project management certification.

Work and apply for a top Business school to get an MBA.

** If anything 2,4,5 would be my ideal scenario but I dont know if thats a good route.

Any advice would help

Thanks
