Computer Engineering or CS/Math

I've been looking into both of the titled majors and right now I'm in a bit of a quandary as to what I should do. I'm very interested in Discrete Mathematics / Number Theory, and I absolutely love working with programming languages and creating / analyzing complex algorithms. I compete in the IIO and AMC and prefer studying "pure" mathematics over "applied". I aspire to work with the NSA someday.

Alright, my question is this.. knowing the interests that I've enumerated, which would be a better major for me and my future plans? Comp. Engineering and Math, or CS and Math?

Thanks..

CS and Math.

Seems pretty obvious you'd be better off doing CS/Math.

Yes, CS/Math for sure. CE is much more applied -- which is where the engineering (applied science) part comes in.

Definitely CS and math. And take crypto classes. :)
