<p>What the....how is it humanly possible that CIT is ranked below some not-so-good institutions?! Many used to tell me that US News WR's rankings aren't good, and this pretty much seals the deal for me.</p>

<p>Take a look at Caltech's faculty list and you will see that only a couple are doing any research in the area of Computer Engineering. Caltech is great in the areas that it has, but it doesn't have a ton of faculty in every area. Caltech is ranked #4 in EE (which it should be), but it is ranked #10 in Computer Science (similar to Computer Engineering).</p>
