Can anyone recommend a design based computer engineering course? Perhaps one that uses c and/or python?
Our CE department is quite shambly, I would recommend a different school.
So much for depression marbles, you still have time to bash CWRU! Get on with it, get on with your life, these posts are shams.
@marbles321 I just called CWRU about the CE department and reported the misinformation to them. Maybe they can deal with you. You need help.
It is a shame to be so bitter when one is so young.
Things Case CE doesn’t offer: 1. C based coding course. 2. Basic logic design lab 3. microprocessor system design course. 4. operating system and kernel design course (we offer an operating system course, but its more CS then CE focused). 5. Advanced logic design course. 6. Microprocessors II.
We offer one catch-all digital design course. EECS 301. We cover microprocessors and microcontrollers in a small portion of a course.
CE at case is thoroughly an 1980s level curriculum. Many students add an EE degree.
I’m tired of being told to get a life and will be leaving CC. If students op into this major and have the awareness to realize the weakness of the program, they can transfer. If they are sheeple and think there’s nothing missing in their education, that’s fine too. It’s not my job to be helpful about this.
