I have been taking piano for a while, but I never got into it until about a year or two ago and am interested in continuing piano, whether as a major, minor, or hobby. There is one problem though, as I am not sure if the music I send in will be of the same level as some of the other applicants who turn in an art supplement. The music I am thinking about sending in is the first movement of Beethoven's Pathetique sonata and probably just the first part of Schumann's Carnaval, or more parts if time permits. Should I bother sending in the recordings to schools such as Harvard, MIT, and Williams?
