Condition Acceptance

The office of admission says I need to submit a partial high school transcript which I sent in a couple weeks ago. I am starting to get worred because nothing has changed in the student portal on this section. Does this mean they have not gotten it yet?

Give them a call. I have not called admissions personally, but everyone here says they are super helpful! Good luck!

Does everyone have to send a partial transcript? I don’t recall seeing that anywhere. I just thought the final transcript had to be sent by July 15th or something like that.

My daughter needs to send her final transcript by July 15th, as you mentioned. I’m wondering if Cal Poly wants to see mid-year reports for some kids. Like momofmv said, I would call admissions to find out.

It takes a little while. I sent mine in about a a month ago, and they got it all processed last week. No need to worry, but if you’re still concerned, you can always just give them a call.

Partial transcripts are only for some students. Every student sends in the final ones.

Congratulations lounger! Now you can apply to housing and Open House if you want!

Congrats! You’re officially a Mustang! Just keep your grades up and you’ll do fine! Like momofmv said, now is the time for applying for your dorm. Have fun!

bump please

“The Cal Poly Admissions Office has reviewed the documents you have submitted to date and has determined that you do not yet meet the Terms and Conditions of Admission. Your final transcript/s for this term is/are now needed to determine your admission.”

Does everyone get this message or just certain people like me that may be borderline??

Mine says the same thing…cept I already sent my midyear transcript in Feb and I did decent my fall semester (4 A’s and 2B’s).

What the heck…

was this after you had already been admitted?

Yeah. I was accepted back in early Feb. Sent my midyear transcript in Feb as well. I already deposited $800 back in Feb…Into march and april, I’ve been continually getting emails reminding me to sign up for Open House or other admitted students’ stuff. Probably will give them a call tomorrow.

Where did you see the note from admission? I have looked in the Student Center and on MyCalPoly portal and do not see anything. When I clicked application status, it still says congratulations on your admission.

I never received a request to send in mid-term grades.

Oh. I emailed the guy and he just said it basically just meant that they’re waiting for me to turn in my final transcript with spring grades and my graduation date on it. No biggie.

Everyone has to do that. So, you’re right–no biggie…unless someone didn’t end up getting a high school diploma or their grades slipped drastically. ;)
