I sent Collegeboard the form to cancel a bad AP score that I had. Since I can't check my scores online, how will I know when the score has been canceled?

If you canceled after scores came out in summer and don’t have on-line account, about the only way to confirm is to call CB. You should note that if you you canceled after scores came out, your high school would, like you, have received a score report when the score was released, and the cancellation will not be reflected in the high school’s file. Since many high school’s put all your test scores on your official high school transcript that is sent to colleges, you may need to take another step and ask your high school to remove the score from your records and not put it on your transcript that is sent to colleges to which you apply.

Would having an online account allow me to see my scores?

They will send you a paper confirmation in the mail that it has been cancelled.

Do they send you a confirmation for withholding also? And does the request to withhold a score have to be handwritten (I’m asking because it says on the collegeboard website that I have to mail a “signed, written” request. Does this “signed, written” mean handwritten?)

And for the signature, does it have to be my full name? Because I only put the first letter of my first name in my signature.
