On this website https://law.yale.edu/admissions/profiles-statistics , the “high” gpa for the admitted class is 4.24… I thought undergrad gpa was out of 4.0? How is this possible?
Perhaps some colleges give A+ grades.
Some are foreign students so may be a conversion issue, and it may only be one student with that score.
Cornell is one US college that awards A+'s and counts them into the GPA.

If a college awards A+ grades they will be included in LSAC’s calculation of GPA. I know that seems unfair but it is how the world works
