confused about major?

so, I'm going to be a French major next year. I know that I will major in French; I've had this planned out since freshman year. however, I'll be picking my courses in a couple weeks and when I looked through the course list I picked out some classes that sounded interesting to me. when I stepped back to look at it I realized that besides my french classes, the majority of classes I picked were history classes, like intro to greek civilization, intro to international studies, and world history to 1500. just looking at this, do you think that I should be a French major? Or should I change it to International Studies, because that's what it seems that I'm going for...

Or maybe major in French and minor in History or maybe double major in French and International Studies, and minor in history? I don't know. I just realized that maybe I like history (just not American history, that kills. I'm more for European history).

Thank you for advice!

Take some classes and see what you really enjoy–while taking French. You may find that it will be very easy to double major or major/minor. If you have some AP credit, that will give you some flexibility.
